Client: An Elite Volleyball Club from St. Petersburg, Russia
Order: 3500 sets of professional-level volleyball uniforms (including jerseys and shorts)
Challenge: Long-distance communication, complex team personalization, tight delivery timeline
When our customer service inbox received an inquiry from St. Petersburg, Russia, we knew it was more than just a standard order. It was a leap of trust spanning over 8,000 kilometers. Today, we’re sharing how we worked with this dynamic club to achieve the miracle of these 3500 uniform sets.
The manager, Dmitry, got straight to the point. They weren’t looking for an off-the-shelf template but a unique design that embodied the team’s spirit – to be as dazzling, unpredictable, and powerful as the St. Petersburg ‘Northern Lights’ on the court.
Their exact words: “We’re tired of generic designs. Our players deserve better.”
Our reaction: Excitement! This played right into HN Jersey’s specialty – turning ideas into wearable art.
This was the coolest part! We didn’t literally sew light, but we captured it through color and pattern.
Color Scheme: We moved away from traditional solid colors, choosing a deep “Midnight Blue” as the primary tone, symbolizing the Russian winter night sky.
The “Aurora” Element: Along the sides and sleeves of the jersey, we designed a gradient lightning bolt stripe, blending electric blue, violet, and a hint of lime green to mimic the flowing form of the aurora.
Personalized Details: Below each player’s number, we printed their surname in Cyrillic letters, making every jersey unique and full of a sense of belonging.
This was Dmitry’s biggest concern. Four weeks from finalizing the design to production, quality control, and international logistics was tight.
Our Response: “No problem. We can handle it.”
Dedicated Project Team: We immediately formed a dedicated 3-person team to oversee all aspects of the order.
24/7 Communication: We used the time zone difference to our “advantage” – when their day ended, our production team was just starting theirs. Problems were solved overnight, and progress never halted.
Transparent Updates: We proactively sent Dmitry progress reports and photos from the production line twice a week, making him feel as assured as if he were visiting our workshop in person, despite being far away in Russia.
After the shipment was sent, what we anticipated and worried about most was the client’s final feedback. Soon, we received a detailed email from Dmitry, which stated:
“The jerseys have all arrived and been distributed to the players! The team’s response has been incredibly positive. The quality, colors, and design have all exceeded our expectations. The ‘Aurora’ element looks fantastic in motion during play. You are undoubtedly the most professional supplier we have worked with.”
Reading this message, our entire team breathed a sigh of relief, followed by a huge sense of accomplishment. This recognition from afar was more valuable than anything.
